Beginner Shuttle Tatting with Kristi Dusek
Kristi will guide you through the basics of Shuttle Tatting over two 2- hour sessions this summer, Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th of August, from 1pm to 3pm each day. You will need a tatting shuttle and size 10 crochet cotton (both available to buy at the store). The cost is $30 per person for the two-session class. If you have any questions, please call the store and ask to speak with Melissa.
What you will learn:
- an introduction to the tools
- how to do it (i.e. how to move your hands and shuttle to make the knots)
- common mistakes (and how to correct them, if they are correctable, and how to tell)
- what to watch out for
- how to read a pattern
