Winter on Ocracoke Shawl Knitting Pattern - Paper Version

Winter on Ocracoke Shawl is a top-down triangular shawl using a simple garter stitch tab to start the pattern. The design uses two contrasting colors but the Baah Yarn Shasta in “Call of the Wind” has specks of blue that perfectly compliment the Malabrigo Rios in “Bobby Blue”. The pattern incorporates knits, purls and yarnovers to create the design – there are no fancy stitches or effects, but the wonderfully subtle texture is delightful to look at and to feel.
